Independent Girls’ Conference Adds Volleyball League

The IGC has added Girls’ Volleyball as a league sport for the first time in the league’s history.  This will give the Chargers an opportunity to compete for a league championship, award all-league player selections, and have players be eligible for league MVP distinction.  The Chargers finished last season with a 7-5 record in independent play and are off to a strong 2-1 start this season.  The team’s current record includes decisive wins against league opponents Marie Phillip School and Montrose School.  In addition to Montrose and MPS, league members include CH-CH, Cambridge School of Weston, Gann Academy, and Landmark School.  Go Chargers!
