Wrestling Team Remains Undefeated
The Charger Wrestling team has had an explosive start to this winter season. They are currently undefeated with wins against league opponents Landmark School, Concord Academy, Beaver Country Day School and Portsmouth Abbey. The team is led by Captains Sam N-P (’16) and Nelson A. (’16). Sam N-P (’16) has earned two pins in two matches, won by points against Concord Academy and lost a tight match vs. Landmark while Nelson A. (’16) has two pins and one technical fall on the season. Mark B. (’17), Adam K. (‘18), Lucas C. (‘18), Ben J-D (‘19), Ethan S. (‘18), Xavier H. (’18) and Kyle G. (’17) have each contributed with multiple pins as well. Coach Maguire says “This group works hard, but also approaches wrestling with a fun and upbeat attitude.” The Chargers look to continue their winning streak on Wednesday against non-league Maimonides.
