Emily C. ('19) Wins Chowder Day Race

For the first time in the three years competing in the event, Emily C. (’19) bested all competition, finishing in 1st and winning the girls’ Chowder Day Race down at Providence Country Day this past Saturday.  In addition to PCDS and CH-CH, Juanita Sanchez School and St. Andrew’s School also competed in 2.9 mile event.  Emily covered the course in 23:17 (a career personal best) with the next closest runner following by 46 seconds.  In the boys’ race, Tyler S. (’19) was the top Charger, finishing in 8thplace and clocking in at 17:41.  Congratulations, Emily and Tyler!
